POS transaction data was integrated with camera timestamps, enabling exception-based reporting: no-sale transactions, refund spikes, and void patterns automatically flagged for review. Loss prevention analysts could pull correlated footage from any register, at any location, from headquarters.

In the first full year after deployment, shrinkage dropped from 2.8% to 1.9% — a 31% reduction. Four internal theft cases were identified and resolved using POS-correlated camera footage within the first eight months. The evidence quality in each case was sufficient for prosecution.
